Celebrating 50 Years of Enterprise Welding & Fabricating

This month, we’re proud to celebrate 50 years of Enterprise Welding & Fabricating. It’s a milestone that reminds us just how far hard work, dedication and a commitment to doing things right can go.

As we look back, we’re filled with gratitude for our founders, our employees, our customers and our community.

The beginning

Enterprise Welding started in 1975, when Ivan Katic, Slavko Katic and Astor Branham decided to open a small welding shop in a rented 3,000-square-foot building on Enterprise Drive in Mentor, Ohio.

With just a few tools and a lot of determination, they built their business on simple values: work hard, treat people right and make quality parts every time. Those principles quickly earned the company a reputation for reliability and precision.

Growing and building

As demand grew, so did Enterprise Welding. By 1979, the business had expanded, and in 1980, it landed a key partnership with Caterpillar’s Forklift Division, a turning point that helped set the company on a path of steady growth.

Over the years, new equipment, facility expansions and the next generation of leadership helped shape the company we know today.

The people behind the work

Behind every weld, every project and every shipment is a team of hardworking people who take pride in what they do. Many of our employees have been with us for decades, and their dedication and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we produce.

We’ve also been fortunate to work with loyal customers and partners who’ve trusted us year after year. Their confidence has fueled our growth and pushed us to keep improving.

Gratitude and looking ahead

Reaching 50 years is something we don’t take for granted. It’s the result of countless hours of effort from our team, the trust of our customers and the ongoing support of our community here in Mentor, Ohio.

To everyone who has been part of our journey, thank you. Your belief in us has made Enterprise Welding what it is today.

Here’s to the next fifty years of building with care, precision and pride.
